Wineries of the Durbanville Wine Route DIEMERSDAL Making wine runs in the family at Diemersdal. Six generations of winemakers with one passion have made fine wines at the Estate since the 1800’s. Situated on the cool slopes of the Dorstberg, with Table Mountain as backdrop, Diemersdal provides the perfect setting for the production of unique, soulful wines. The farm covers 340 hectares of land, with 180 of those under vines. 10 cultivars are planted in equal proportions of red and white grapes. From easy-drinking whites for immediate enjoyment through to full-of-character reds, well suited for maturation.
