Wineries of the Durbanville Wine Route DE VALLEI De Vallei is situated on the De Villiers Family Estate in the heart of the picturesque Durbanville Wine Valley. This proud family has been farming in the Durbanville area for six generations and over the years have perfected the recipe of lush and rich vineyards, which form the foundation of any good wine. In 2006, winemaker Nikie De Villiers pursued the art of creating memorable wines from De Vallei's finest grapes. Great pride and passion goes into the winemaking process and this is why this young winery is only starting to write its tale of remarkable and blessed success. The favourable terroir and cool Southern slopes overlooking the panoramic Durbanville valley, forms the backdrop of De Vallei's wines. Small batches of quality grapes were carefully selected to create this distinctive, handcrafted boutique wine.
